Making a fuel cell work in the lab is one milestone. Understanding how each cell performs within a full stack is another. That transition is where many R&D teams face their greatest challenges. Pulsenics is proud to announce the native integration of its Pulse Probe Series with Scribner’s 830 Stack Fuel Cell Test System, launched today at Hydrogen Technology Expo Europe in Hamburg.

As a leader in advanced, industrial-scale EIS diagnostics, Pulsenics brings continuous, cell-level insights directly into the 830. Researchers can separate ohmic, kinetic and mass transport losses, identify underperforming cells early, and link degradation to operating conditions across long, unattended tests.

The 830 is a fully automated platform designed to grow with research programs, from large-format single cells to full stacks, and from 2 kW to 10 kW+. With the native integration of Pulsenics technology, researchers gain access to real-time, rapid EIS on the full stack and on each individual cell during operation. Rather than identifying issues after a test campaign is complete, researchers gain insight as the system runs. Built on the same technology Pulsenics deploys in industrial systems worldwide, it delivers detailed diagnostics that scale with researchers from the lab to industrial scale.

The partnership brings together Scribner’s 40+ years of fuel cell testing expertise and Pulsenics’ industrial diagnostics in one integrated system, supported by both teams. “Continuous, cell-level EIS shows researchers what’s happening inside the stack while it runs, not after something fails,” said Dr. Essam Elsahwi, CEO of Pulsenics.

To mark the launch, Pulsenics and Scribner will co-host a webinar on Tuesday, November 10 at 9 a.m. ET. Experts from both teams will discuss the challenges of scaling hydrogen R&D, the role of advanced diagnostics in long-term stack testing, and where stack diagnostics are headed next.

Join Pulsenics and Scribner on November 10 at 9 a.m. ET to learn what it takes to scale hydrogen R&D.
